Durante algunos a\u00f1os desarroll\u00f3 esa faceta asistencial, pero la investigaci\u00f3n en torno a este terreno ha centrado su labor. Actualmente imparte clases en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad de Granada. Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n hablan, por ejemplo, del mundo de los curanderos y las tradiciones, pero tambi\u00e9n de temas actuales como el botell\u00f3n.
